Getting started
1. Add from the Chrome Web Store
Open the md telescribe listing and click "Add to Chrome" to install the extension.
2. Pin the extension
Pin md telescribe to your toolbar so it is easy to open during visits.
3. Sign in and start recording
Sign in with your md telescribe account. For telemedicine, open a visit tab (e.g. Google Meet) and choose Video or Audio visit. For face-to-face visits, choose In-person visit to record with the microphone only.
Before your first visit
- Create your md telescribe account if you have not already.
- Allow microphone access when Chrome prompts you. Telemedicine visits record tab audio plus your mic; in-person visits use the microphone only.
- For telemedicine, use a normal website tab for your call (not a chrome:// page). Google Meet and most telehealth platforms work. For face-to-face visits, choose In-person visit — no meeting tab is required.
- Keep the extension popup open after you stop recording until notes finish generating.
